Amongst other responsibilities at my company, I manage the systems used at our firm of mostly non-computer savvy employees. We have tried seeral differnet time tracking systems, but none of them have been able to integrate time tracking and invoices as easily as Harvest. We have loved every facet of Harvest and only wish there was a SalesForce.com integration.

A major caveat to begin: I have not used Legal Zoom or other 'pre-prepared legal documents' sites or resources.

That being said, there is no website or web technology that can take the place of hiring an attorney to prepare a contract or other documents for you. A real life attorney knows your state's laws, they know your specific situation and needs, and they can be held liable by you for not doing a good job (i.e., your contract doesn't hold water because of its poor preparation). With Legal Zoom or other such services, none of this particularity and liability is in tact. While the upfront low cost of these services is enticing, would you rather pay a little more now and sleep soundly, or not be quite sure if your contract was properly done and then still have to pay a lot on the backend for litigation due to a poorly prepared contract? The choice is yours, but I know how I would proceed.
