We spent some time developing some web app recommendations for a client of ours to help them automate their receipt of invoices, storage of financial documents for their financial bookkeeping company, scanning and more.  It involved several web apps and a custom scanner.  I didn't know about bill.com at the time.  When I learned about bill.com from our client (who also had an accounting degree + CPA + MBA), I realized it did everything we were trying to accomplish using several apps. I subsquently tested the product and found it very useful--sophisticated but simple.  It's cost could be lowered a bit for adding additional users, but all in all, it seems like the best of web 2.0 for an important small business need often overlooked--accounting payment controls.  Accounting controls and approvals are hard to manage.  Separation of powers for bookeeping, authorization, and check writing are hard to do, but this makes it easy.  As a prior M.Acc and CPA, I understand the value of this product.
