Craigslist is a fraudulent, low brow scam

I posted an ad on Craigslist offering a dog walking service.  Very clear, very innocent.  What I got, however, was tons of spam from people needing a personal assistant...just give your personal information and I'll issue you a bankdraft since I'm traveling, a typical Nigeria style scam, or worse yet, people who think I may be offering some sort of sexual service under the guise of a dog walking service.  The real clinker her is that Craigslist then sent me a message stating that my ad had been flagged and removed.  This is fine with me since I received not legit inquiries.  When I tried to find out why, I was bounced around from one robo message to another.  I've replied to every e mail address possible pleading to receive a response from a real human and just received more of the same robo replies not appropriate to the question or concern I was presenting.  I finally e mailed and asked that I not be contacted by them ever again and now I'm receiving up to three e mails a day asking me to verify my phone number.  Again, there's no possibility of contacting a real person in this unaccountable, opaque organization.  It's as if they've surrounded themselves with cement bricks and no customers can contact them.  Is this unaccountable, unresponsive behavior legal?  I've reported their operating procedures to my state's attorney general's office.  No business should be allowed to operate in this unaccountable, inaccessible manner.  It's no wonder so many crimes have occured because of Craigslist posting.  Let's close this sleazy opertion down.

Meet Craiggers: It Blows Craigslist Out of The Water

If you've ever used craigslist before then you know, it's just not very good. That's not to say you can't find what you need on there. The site is full of amazing deals and goods and services of all kinds, but navigating it involves opening new browser tab after browser ...

user avatar Brandon flagging

i am being maliciously flagged by a someone and i have looked at every rule and i am following every rule... anyways not why i am suggesting... i was sitting at home thinking about this and thought that what if you (craigslist) put a number of flaggings per month on your ip address so you couldn't flag like 3 times a day on one post... or could have it so when someone flags a large number of postings that you could block that ip from flagging... theres my suggestion and i think it would be a great idea and help a lot of people out.

Thanks,

   Brandon

Considering the fact that homes sit on the market for 30 days i think that it would be helpful if Craigslist could make houses stay up for 30 days indtead of only 7. If there are too many houses on Craigslist than they can break it down by zip code.
